BizData has been recognised for a solution which has transformed the entire data management process for a large franchisee based organisation that has doubled in size in the last four years.

The solution, which leverages the Enterprise Edition features of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, involved the implementation of a finance and sales data warehouse.The data warehouse loads over 500 source files on a nightly basis and consolidates it for the organisation’s finance reports and budgeting / planning process.

The solution features SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ‘fuzzy logic’ to match previously incompatible data to enable a single customer view. A master data hub is integrated to the data warehouse leveraging Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Master Data Services (MDS), which allows staff on-going control of master reference data including categorisation and grouping for reporting, analysis and planning.

By creating a single repository of company data, BizData has contributed significantly to empowering the company in areas of timely corporate planning, data management, sales and marketing, franchise collaboration and management of operational costs. The solution utilises Perspective – Data Collector software, a SQL Server and .NET based application which has also simplified manual Budget and Forecast data collection across over 200 different franchisees.

The solution integrates with a SharePoint portal implemented by BizData which provides each Franchisee with targeted content and reports, and allows collaboration of key processes with Head Office.

The MAPA award winners will be publically announced during the Australia Partner Conference Keynote on Tuesday August 23, 2011.

BizData attains highest Microsoft Partner Status

The Microsoft Partner Network has changed to acknowledge those companies that provide the highest level of expertise and experience in particular specialisations.

Effective from November 1st 2010, these new specialisations recognise the greatest level of depth of technical expertise and implementation experience on the Microsoft Platform.

The certification process verifies the number of staff that are technically certified and dedicated to a particular expertise to provide a better reflection of the scale of a Microsoft Partner to service customer needs.

BizData is pleased to announce that it is one of the first companies in Australia to attain Gold level Specialisations for Business Intelligence and Portals & Collaboration.

Having both specialisations is a further differentiator for BizData and provides a strong foundation to deliver information management solutions that draw on the full breadth of SQL Server and SharePoint platforms.
