BizData expands to Perth

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Perth, Australia.

Starting the launch with a massive Power BI Training session delivered by our Director of Big Data Engineering, James Bashforth, and ending with a wonderful cocktail party, the opening of the new office has been warmly welcomed, and we have subsequently experienced an incredible demand for our services.

Microsoft announces Genomics Partnership with BizData

The American Society of Human Genetics Annual Meeting, held earlier this month in San Diego, saw the announcement of the latest in genome analysis, including the launch of the fourth iteration of the Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK4) and the latest partnerships including BizData.

Azure SQL Data Warehouse Gen2 now Generally Available

Microsoft announced the General Availability of its Azure SQL Data Warehouse Compute Optimized Gen2 in October this year, with confirmation that is is also now available in Australia.

Power BI flexes to Petabyte-scale capability

The October Power BI Desktop release saw the announcement of composite model and aggregations support in the Power BI Service. Using aggregations in Power BI enables interactive analysis over Big Data, bringing with it a number of key advantages not available previously.
